Prevention First

Why Preventive Dentistry Matters

Most dental diseases are highly preventable with regular cleanings, exams, and treatment. Regular dental care reduces risk and allows you to catch and treat problems early, before they get worse.

Poor oral health also impacts your risk of serious systemic illness, including heart disease, diabetes, and respiratory illness. Investing in your dental health helps you invest in your overall health.

At Aspiring Smiles, our regular exams include oral cancer screening, bite evaluation, gum health assessment, and personalized home-care coaching to help you preserve your smile for a lifetime.

Your frist visit

New Patient Experience

People often have questions about what to expect as a new patient at Aspiring Smiles. Sometimes they haven’t been to the dentist in a while, have had bad experiences before, or are simply a little nervous about seeing a new dentist. We always want our patients to have a relaxed experience, so we’re happy to describe the process for you:

If you're looking for a dentist in Boca Raton who blends cosmetic artistry with genuine dental health expertise, you've found the right place. We take the time to listen, explain your options clearly, and build a treatment plan around your goals — not a one-size-fits-all script. Every treatment plan is tailored to your goals, your timeline, and your budget.

  • Step01

    Consultation

Our team members will greet you and ask you to complete some paperwork about your dental and medical health, as well as any dental concerns you currently have.

  • Step02

    Comprehensive Exam

We’ll show you to an exam room, where a hygienist will perform a cleaning and an oral cancer screening. The hygienist will note any issues that might need the dentist’s attention.

  • Step03

    Digital X-rays

Next, we’ll take digital X-rays. These use electronic sensors rather than film, and they emit less radiation than traditional X-rays. Digital X-rays are environmentally friendly and produce immediate results that appear right away on a nearby screen.

  • Step04

    Treatment Plan

The dentist will examine your teeth and review your X-rays to identify any problems. Dr. Gena will then make a treatment plan for any issues, such as cavities or crooked teeth, and explain the next steps. If you have any questions, she will answer them, so you can make an informed decision about how to proceed.

  • Step05

    Ongoing Care

Even if your teeth and gums are healthy, it’s still important to continue regular dental care. So, once your exam is complete, we will schedule another one for about six months in the future. If you need additional care, we will also schedule those appointments.

Your concerns, solved

Advanced Dental Technology

When choosing a dentist in Boca Raton, it’s important to select one who uses
the latest technology. At Aspring Smiles, we use the following technologies so
we have the best tools in diagnosing and treating your dental issues:

  • Digital X-rays

These allow us to quickly and clearly see what’s going on with your teeth.

  • Intraoral scanner

If you’ve ever had a crown made using traditional impression materials, you know that these can be messy and uncomfortable. The intraoral scanner creates a 3D model of your teeth without the mess.

  • CBCT Scanner

This advanced imaging system also creates a 3D picture by stitching together hundreds of 2D images. Unlike the intraoral scanner, it can image all your teeth at once, or just a particular area of concern.

  • Digital Smile

Design is a software program that allows dentists to predict how a patient’s smile will look after treatment. It’s used in cosmetic dentistry to ensure the most accurate outcomes of interventions like Invisalign or retainers.

Insurance & Financing

Many patients have concerns about insurance coverage and financing for their dental treatment. Our
office staff members are happy to check your insurance and explain the costs for cleanings, exams, and
other procedures. If you don’t have insurance, we accept cash and credit cards, and we partner with
third-party financiers like Sunbit for financing options.

Dental PPOs

A dental PPO or preferred provider network provides coverage within a network of dental providers. For in-network providers, they typically cover preventive care like cleanings and exams at 100 percent. Treatments such as fillings, simple extractions, and root canals may be covered at 70-80 percent, depending on the specific plan. Major restorations like crowns, bridges, dentures, and implants are typically covered at 50 percent.

Although you can see out-of-network providers with a PPO, you may pay a higher percentage of the bill.

  • Most major insurance accepted.

We verify benefits before your appointment and handle all claims on your behalf.

  • Sunbit financing.

0% interest promotional periods available. Apply in minutes and get approval on the spot. Smile now, pay over time

Financing Options

Sunbit is a healthcare credit card that can be used for dental work. It offers short-term financing with no interest, so long as you pay off the balance within a certain period of time—for example, 6, 12, or 18 months. People often use it for more expensive treatments that aren’t covered by insurance. You can then pay over time for your treatment instead of having to pay for it all on the day of your appointment.

Because we believe cost should never be a barrier to quality dental care, Aspiring Smiles accepts most major insurance plans and offers flexible financing so you can start treatment right away.

  • $179 new patient special.

    Includes comprehensive exam, X-rays, and a professional cleaning—over a $400 value.

  • Complimentary second opinions.

Unsure about a treatment plan another provider recommended? We offer free second opinion consultations.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Have a question not answered below? Call us at (561)-208-1988

How often should I visit the dentist?
This can vary depending on your dental health. For most patients, we recommend an exam and cleaning twice a year, or every six months. However, if you have certain dental problems, we may recommend more frequent visits to check on specific issues.
What insurance do you accept?
We accept policies from most major dental insurers, but coverage can vary depending on the plan and whether we are in or out of network. If you want to know what will be covered or how much your out-of-pocket costs will be, please contact our office team to learn more based on your specific policy.
Can I speak to someone about my emergency prior to making an appointment?
Yes, of course. You can speak directly with a knowledgeable team member about your situation before scheduling an appointment. Our staff is experienced in dental care and can provide guidance on the best next steps while ensuring you feel comfortable and supported.
What does it mean if one tooth becomes sensitive to heat or cold?
This could be a number of issues, including a cavity or the beginning of an abscess. If you suddenly experience sensitivity in one particular tooth, we recommend seeing a dentist in Boca Raton as soon as possible.
Can I schedule my appointment online?
Yes, you can conveniently schedule your appointment online at any time. Our online booking system is available 24/7, so you can find a day and time that works best for your schedule without having to call the office.
What is the best way for me to transfer my files to your office?
The easiest way is to call our office, and we will guide you through the process. We can help coordinate with your previous dental provider to securely transfer your records and X-rays. This way, we have a complete history of your oral health and can better tailor your treatment plan.
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes. We’re happy to welcome new patients. Please book an appointment today—we look forward to meeting you!
Do you offer emergency appointments?
Yes, absolutely. We understand how stressful a dental emergency can be, and we make it a priority to see emergency patients as quickly as possible. We can fit you in today and provide the urgent care you need.
How much does a cleaning cost?
Again, this depends on your specific insurance, but some policies do cover preventive dentistry like cleanings at 100 percent. Our office team members will be happy to review your insurance coverage and give you an estimate.
Do you take Walk-Ins?
While we do our best to accommodate patients who come in without an appointment, we highly recommend calling ahead whenever possible. This allows us to reserve a time specifically for you, minimize your wait, and ensure that you receive the attention and care you deserve.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
For your first visit, please bring a valid photo ID as well as your dental insurance card if you have one. If you’re currently taking any medications, it’s also helpful to bring a list of them. This information ensures we have everything we need to provide you with safe, accurate, and personalized care right from the start.
