Dr. Gena brings a broad range of experience to cosmetic and restorative dentistry. She graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center with a DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery). After serving in the United States Navy for a four-year tour, she completed a General Practice Residency at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego.
While treating patients at a public health clinic in South Texas, Dr. Gena saw firsthand how deeply oral health affects a person’s whole life — and developed a firm belief that “oral health equals your overall health.”
With over 20 years of experience in general and cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Gena is a member of the LD Pankey Institute for Continuing Education and a clinical instructor for the Aesthetic Excellence Cosmetic Continuum. She is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the American Academy of Clear Aligners.

Sometimes they haven’t been to the dentist in a while, have had bad experiences before, or are simply a little nervous about seeing a new dentist. We always want our patients to have a relaxed experience, so we’re happy to describe the process for you:
If you're looking for a dentist in Boca Raton who blends cosmetic artistry with genuine dental health expertise, you've found the right place. We take the time to listen, explain your options clearly, and build a treatment plan around your goals — not a one-size-fits-all script. Every treatment plan is tailored to your goals, your timeline, and your budget.
Our team members will greet you and ask you to complete some paperwork about your dental and medical health, as well as any dental concerns you currently have.
We’ll show you to an exam room, where a hygienist will perform a cleaning and an oral cancer screening. The hygienist will note any issues that might need the dentist’s attention.
Next, we’ll take digital X-rays. These use electronic sensors rather than film, and they emit less radiation than traditional X-rays. Digital X-rays are environmentally friendly and produce immediate results that appear right away on a nearby screen.
The dentist will examine your teeth and review your X-rays to identify any problems. Dr. Gena will then make a treatment plan for any issues, such as cavities or crooked teeth, and explain the next steps. If you have any questions, she will answer them, so you can make an informed decision about how to proceed.
Even if your teeth and gums are healthy, it’s still important to continue regular dental care. So, once your exam is complete, we will schedule another one for about six months in the future. If you need additional care, we will also schedule those appointments.

If you’ve ever had a crown made using traditional impression materials, you know that these can be messy and uncomfortable. The intraoral scanner creates a 3D model of your teeth without the mess.
This advanced imaging system also creates a 3D picture by stitching together hundreds of 2D images. Unlike the intraoral scanner, it can image all your teeth at once, or just a particular area of concern.
Design is a software program that allows dentists to predict how a patient’s smile will look after treatment. It’s used in cosmetic dentistry to ensure the most accurate outcomes of interventions like Invisalign or retainers.

other procedures. If you don’t have insurance, we accept cash and credit cards, and we partner with

A dental PPO or preferred provider network provides coverage within a network of dental providers. For in-network providers, they typically cover preventive care like cleanings and exams at 100 percent. Treatments such as fillings, simple extractions, and root canals may be covered at 70-80 percent, depending on the specific plan. Major restorations like crowns, bridges, dentures, and implants are typically covered at 50 percent.
Although you can see out-of-network providers with a PPO, you may pay a higher percentage of the bill.
